Daily Low Rounds- within divisions will earn $100/Team for Saturday/Sunday ONLY for Low Gross and $50 Team for Second Low Gross
Weather Protocol
Given the time of year, weather is always a potential issue at Berkshire Hills. ALL PLAYERS should be prepared to play in changing weather conditions and our priority is player safety and the integrity of the tournament. ALL ROUNDS are STIPULATED NINE HOLE rounds, meaning the ENTIRE flight must complete 9 or 18 holes for it to be counted each day. In potentially dangerous weather situations, the following process will be followed:
ONE LONG HORN BLAST- Players have option to complete their current hole but CANNOT tee off unless one player has already done so
THREE SHORT BLASTS- IMMEDIATE STOPPAGE OF PLAY, LIGHTNING IN AREA and players cannot finish hole
SAFE RETURN TO PLAY- Will be marked by THREE LONG BLASTS of Air Horn
MANDATORY LIVE SCORING VIA GOLF GENIUS
While we understand many players would rather not touch their mobile devices during the round, we are asking ONE player in each foursome to score electronically. This allows fans in the clubhouse the opportunity to follow along with play and significantly helps our pro shop staff. In 2025 we are mandating this to occur. Failure to enter scores will have a two step process….Step One = Warning, Step Two = 2 SHOT PENALTY
-ALL GROUPS ARE MANDATED TO USE GG -Only one player in the foursome is required to enter scores -Paper card is the OFFICIAL card
PACE OF PLAY- With a full field, teams may be subject to being put on the clock if they don’t keep pace
1) If your partner has already holed out and his score is used, players MUST pick up and head to next tee
2) The Golf Pro will monitor pace of play and give a group a warning if they fall out of place (2:10 per nine holes)
3) If the entire GROUP remains out of place following the warning, each team will be subject to a one shot penalty
MUSIC POLICY: As the golf industry continues to grow, more players have “enjoyed” their rounds with speakers playing music. For the Pewter Cup, we have enacted this policy, please adhere to it at ALL TIMES
1) Music may be played within your foursome if ALL PLAYERS AGREE
2) Any music played should NOT be heard by any other groups on the golf course, it should be confined to your foursome
3) If you are playing music and approach a tee box or another foursome, the music should be “muted” until the group finishe
